The Smart Parking Lot System is an automated solution that detects cars entering and exiting a parking area, opens a gate using a servo motor when space is available, and uses LEDs to indicate occupied spots. An LCD display tracks how long each car stays and calculates parking fees in real time based on duration.

Ideea a pornit de la o problemă destul de comună când stai în apartament cu colegi: nimeni nu vrea să ducă gunoiul și, de cele mai multe ori e ignorat. Pe lângă asta, nici să pui mâna pe capacul coșului nu e prea plăcut, mai ales când e deja murdar .Așa că m-am gândit să fac un coș de gunoi smart care să se deschidă singur când te apropii de el – fără să-l atingi. Folosește un senzor ultrasonic ca să detecteze mâna și un servomotor care ridică capacul automat. În plus, am adăugat și un led care se aprinde roșu când coșul e plin, ca să fie clar pentru toată lumea că e momentul să-l golească.
